Edinburgh City Police Enquiries
I receive a number of enquiries from individuals looking for details of their relatives who served in Edinburgh City Police and other Scottish Police forces in the late 19th and early 20th century.
I am happy to provide as much information as I hold but it took several years to compile and verify. I regret that it has become necessary to introduce a small charge for this service.
For a payment of £25.00, I will tell you what information I have compiled on former officers of Edinburgh City Police and if requested, other Scottish Police forces.
Please feel free to enquire concerning relatives who may have served in Edinburgh City Police. If I have any information on them I will tell you and if you wish to learn more, you may then pay a small charge to receive the details.
Once the payment is received, I will let you know what information I have on the subject of your enquiry. There is no charge if I do not hold any information on the person you have enquired about.
